A hand-knotted Chinese floral wool area rug. This thick pile rug features an oval center medallion with floral detailing across a cream field with corner accents in a palette of baby blue, yellow, pink, and cream. The field is enclosed by a floral border with accents in complementary tones. The rug has been carved along the design lines for a dimensional appearance. It has overcast edges and a tied cotton fringe and is unmarked.
