An original abstract acrylic painting on canvas by contemporary American artist Robbie Kemper (Cincinnati, Ohio; born 1957). The large painting depicts a wild composition made of broad strokes of pale purple paint with larger fields of deep purple. Black and white splatters accent the piece. Artist signature is signed to the lower left and to the verso of the stretcher bars. This work is not framed but equipped to hang. Kemper studied art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, and is currently a studio resident at the Pendleton Art Center in the historic district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio.
