A lithograph poster on paper for the 30th anniversary of The Universal Decoration of Human Rights, written in 1948 by the United Nations General Assembly in Palais de Chaillot, Paris. To the lower half of the poster is an abstract depiction of a man with a wild beard entangled in barbed wire around his chest. Above the figure is a quote from The Confessions of Nat Turner by American novelist William Styron (1925-2006). The work remains unsigned. Presented under acrylic glass, housed in a silver tone aluminum frame.
