An original abstract acrylic painting on canvas by contemporary American artist Robbie Kemper (Cincinnati, Ohio; born 1957), titled Grays with Brights. The large painting depicts aggressive strokes of vivid red, green, and hot pink applied across a background coated in various shades of gray. Splattered white and red paint stand from the canvas’s surface, adding depth to the piece. Artist signature is signed to the lower left and to the verso of the stretcher bars. This work is not framed but equipped to hang. Kemper studied art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, and is currently a studio resident at the Pendleton Art Center in the historic district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio.
