An original watercolor painting on paper by well-listed American artist Anthony Shemroske (Illinois/Louisiana; 1921 – 2004). This nautical image depicts three sailboats with sails down, anchored in the middle of a body of water, as the angry skies above open the floodgates. Artist signature is signed in paint to the lower right. This painting is mounted under coordinating matting, under glass in a wooden frame with cast molding and a pickled finish, equipped to hang.
