A limited edition etching on paper of a nude figure by listed American artist Frank Lind (20th-Century). This gray-scale work features a nude female figure seated on the floor. The figure’s face is partially obscured by her hair as she looks down to the right and has her hands folded in her lap. The work is dated and signed by hand in graphite to the lower right; it is numbered 7 out of an edition of 10 to the lower left. The work is not mounted and remains unframed. Handwriting to the verso reads ‘Pratt’.
Frank Lind is known for his photo-realistic paintings of landscapes, seascapes, and figures. He received his B.A. from Georgetown University and his M.F.A. from the Pratt Institute where he is a professor today. Lind’s work has been exhibited in numerous art centers including the Martin Art Gallery, the Hubert Gallery, and the Sarah Doyle Gallery, among others.

- small brown stain present to right of figure’s face; wear along paper edges; paper tends to roll.
