Item Details
A hand-knotted Kerman accent rug. This Persian wool rug is rendered in a palette of cream, sage, and gold. It features a classic Kerman floral vase design beginning with a central medallion over a partially open, cream-colored field. Surrounding the open part of the field is a region densely patterned with flowers and vase forms, the florals extending nearly to the edges of the rug. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at either end with short, knotted wool warp fringe. Unlabeled.
