Chinese Embroidery on Silk of Cranes
Item Details
A Chinese embroidery on silk of cranes in a tree. This work depicts a pair of cranes resting on the wide, mottled limb of a tree, with feathery branches jutting out above and below them. This brightly-colored work is stitched onto a swath of dark silk, and has a line of East Asian text to the upper left corner. It is presented under glass with a wide border in a slim black frame with a wire for hanging.

- fair; chips and wear throughout frame; damage to verso; debris under glass.
