Ornate Gorham and Sheffield Silver Plate Candleabra
Item Details
A collection of ornate silver plate candelabra. This includes a gadrooned ornamented pair by the Gorham Manufacturing Company, shape number Y1134, that feature a flame finialed stopper in the central capital, and two further capitals suspended above the pedestal base by curving arms. The second pair are by the Sheffield Silver Company and feature long Art Nouveau forms, with a central candle cup and scrolling foliate arms.
Condition
- some minor surface wear with faint markings and minimal tarnishing; the Gorham candelabra have slightly loose side candle cups
