A Mid Century Modern Write-away chest by Cavalier Furniture. This impressive example of the Mid Century Modern movement features a flush top over a pull-out writing surface and three graduated drawers with dovetail joinery and angled wooden pulls. The top drawer features a removable desk organizer. The piece is constructed of solids and veneers and is raised on an inset base that mimics the angles of the drawer pulls. Drawer interiors bear the maker’s mark. This item is located on the lower level of the home.
