F. Wagner Oil Painting on Canvas of a Mill
Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of a mill by F. Wagner. Signed by hand to the lower left corner, the painting depicts a figure walking by a mill sitting at the base of a pond. The painting is mounted in a gold tone gesso and wood frame with an elaborate floral design, beige liner and gold tone fillet. A wire for hanging purposes and a handwritten marking with the artist name is present to the verso. The painting is accompanied by a electric overhang lamp.
Condition
- canvas is somewhat loose around stretcher; large dent to the lower left.
