A grouping of five hand colored engravings on paper of botanical illustrations after Welsh illustrator Sydenham Edwards (1768-1819). Included are brightly colored habit drawings of various flower species. The prints are marked with publisher information in plate beneath the images, with a certification tag to the verso of one. These prints may be reprinted from the original 1826 plates. They are presented under decorative mats and glass, in gold tone metal frames with hanging wire to the versos.

Condition

- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; scratches, scuff marks, and wear to frame; toning, with some marks and foxing to paper.

- measures frames; visible images measure 10.25" W x 8.5" H.
