Hand-Knotted Persian Senneh Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Senneh accent rug. This wool rug features three stepped diamond medallions in a palette of cream, red, navy blue, and lavender and rests on a tri-partite red lozenge. The lozenge, in turn, rests on a densely patterned herati field, the herati pattern also populating the medallions. Framing the field are five narrow borders, including running water and meandering carnation patterns. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at either end with ivory cotton warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
