A pair of colored engravings on paper of hunting scenes, titled Full Cry through the Homestead and His same old Game, after paintings by English artist George Wright (1860-1942). These prints include a view of dogs and hunters on horseback leaping over a wooden fence in Full Cry through the Homestead, and men and dogs gathered around a fox hole in His same old Game. Each piece is signed in print to the lower right, with a notation reading ‘George Wright Pinx’ and the title to the lower margin. They are presented under double French matting, one behind glass, in wood frames with wires for hanging.
Condition
- fair; scuffs and wear to frames; some foxing and marks to prints and matting; prints are not centered in frame; one frame is missing glass.
