Antiqued "Victorian" and "Modernist" Wall Clocks
Item Details
A selection of wall clocks. The two battery-powered, round clocks in this lot each are antiqued, one in Victorian, the other in Modernist style. The Victorian-style clock has a black dial with gilded Roman numerals as the primary hour markers; it features faux craquelure, a pendula, and is marked ‘49 Bond Street/London’ on the front. The Modernist-style clock has Arabic numerals over an otherwise blank face, which features areas of faux discoloration and craquelure, the numerals raised slightly to cast a shadow. The clocks have not been tested.
