Vintage Hand-Painted Ceramic Banana

Item Details

A vintage ceramic figural banana with cork stopper. The piece features a hand-painted finish and flat bottom with three feet for display. There is paper label partially affixed that reads, ‘Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year T. F. Hagan Mont.’ There is a handwritten date of 1887 on the label as well, but it cannot be confirmed.

Condition

- some scratches; cork is chipped away at its top; part of label is missing
