Collection of Decorative Chinese Plates
Item Details
A collection of four decorative Chinese plates. This selection features a plate with a colorful central design of a red cat and a blue and white bird under a tree, and fruit and vegetable designs along with Chinese characters in round shapes along the rim. It is marked to the underside ‘P.C.T. Hong Kong’. Also included is a plate with an image of a man and a woman riding their horses, whips in the air; one with a hand-painted scrolling foliate and lion design in gold tone to the center; and one with an illustration of a man on a throne, surrounded by warriors and robed individuals, marked to the back ‘Not for food use May poison food’.
Condition
- some light wear to undersides; very small chips to the edge of at least one plate.
