Color Lithograph After John Gardner "The Spritsail Barge 'Giralda'"

A lithograph on paper titled The Spritsail Barge ‘Giralda’ after a drawing by John Gardner and published by Hugh Evelyn prints. The illustration depicts a double-masted spritsail barge in side profile by the name of ‘Giralda’ with a grey hull and red sails. This illustration uses simple lines and flat colors to present the boat. Beneath the image is inscribed the title, statistics for the boat, and artist and publisher names. The piece is presented behind an off white mat in a blue wood frame that is wired for hanging.
Condition
- chips to paint of frame along outer edge and one to lower right inner edge; crease marks to print at upper left and right; toning to paper; wear to frame and cardboard backing on verso.
