Offset Lithographs After Peter Casteels' _June_ and _December_
Item Details
A pair of offset lithographs after engravings of paintings by Peter Casteels (Dutch 1684–1749) titled June and December from Robert Furber’s Twelve Months of Flowers catalog published in 1730. Each print features a large arrangement of flowers in urns. A number is printed next to each flower and the names of the flowers are listed to the bottom of each print. The prints are mounted under glass with green mats in narrow wood frames that are wired for hanging.
Condition
- minor wear to the frames.
