An 1890s watercolor painting on paper by artist R. Kenyon. The piece depicts a sunny landscape scene with trees and vegetation surrounding a distant waterfront bungalow. The work is signed and dated in grey paint to the lower right. It is matted in green and presented under glass in a wooden frame with gold tone gesso embellishments to the front and a hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- to poor; toning and acid burns to paper and mat; significant chipping to gesso on frame, with pieces missing; overall surface wear and scratching to frame; frame would benefit from cleaning; black stain to frame glass at upper right; frame is unstable and has sustained further loss of pieces.
