Oil On Canvas Portraits of Children
Item Details
A pair of oil on canvas portraits of children. It includes a vignette portrait by B. M. Severy of a little girl in a coat with a peaked hood holding a small brown begging bowl against a cream colored background. It is signed to the lower right. Also included is an unsigned portrait of a curly mop youngster in a white shirt and gray vest against a dark background. Both paintings are mounted in carved gilt finished wooden frames and each is wired for hanging.
Condition
- minor wear to the both frames; larger canvas has a spot of white paint to the center right.
