Pair of Vintage "Elizabethan Man and Woman" Brass Girandoles
Item Details
A pair of vintage Elizabethan Man and Woman brass girandoles. Each of these girandoles, now electrified, has a single light with a socket cover complete with faux wax drips set into a beaded nozzle and an openwork foliate bobeche from which faceted glass pendants are suspended. A man and women in Elizabethan dress form the body and are mounted on carrara marble bases. The power cord includes an in-cord switch and terminates in a two prong plug. A box of extra glass prisms is included.
Condition
- some pits and marks to the stone base; light oxidation; would benefit from a cleaning; neither have been tested.
- not all prisms may be present and match; scattered chips.
