Signed Native American Jemez Pueblo Vase and Southwestern Decor

A pair of Southwestern vases and a tile Navajo style sand painting tile. Included, is a white and terra cotta Jemez Pueblo wedding vase made and signed to the underside by New Mexico artist, Lawrence Toya, as well as an earth tone vessel with a triangle motif to its upper half. Also in this grouping, is a wooden Navajo style sand painting tile, titled Male Hunchback Yei, depicting the bending Supernatural figure with greenery in his hands. It is marked on verso, ‘Made of all natural colored sandstone,’ and illegibly signed by the artist in pen. The earth toned vase is unsigned.

Condition

- earth tone vase is scuffed and stained; wedding vase has wear near mouth; wear to undersides of all.
