An oil painting on board, titled Unicycle Blues. This painting depicts a surreal composition of an alligator balancing on a unicycle, which precariously rests on a tightrope that is surrounded by an infested spider web. To the background is a textured layering of pastel tones in vertical stripes, as well as a hung, vibrant lime green object suspended in the air that resembles a heart. To the lower right corner of the composition is a monogrammed signature reading ‘EM’, as well as a date, listed September 2009. To the verso is a symmetrical heart and scroll banner that surrounds the years ‘2006’, as well as affixed fishing line for hanging.

- scratching to paint on verso; nick with paint loss to lower right and to upper right flag; wear to edges.
