A signed limited edition offset lithograph after the original watercolor by well-listed and renowned American wildlife illustrator and naturalist John A. Ruthven (Cincinnati; born 1924), titled Bobwhite Quail with Young. This sweet scene depicts a mother bobwhite quail, a loving twinkle in her eye, watching over her four young chicks in the midst of their natural habitat of the dry underbrush of an open field. This print is numbered 8/950 and signed in pencil to the bottom margin. Artist signature is also signed in plate to the lower right. This print is mounted under black and dark brown double mat, behind museum glass in a faux wood composite frame, equipped to hang.
