Vintage Queen Anne Style Upholstered Fauteuil

Item Details

A vintage Queen Anne style upholstered fauteuil. This chair features a curved crest rail with central shell and acanthus leaf detail over an upholstered back with brass tone nailhead trim. The curved and scrolled armrests rise on curved supports flanking an upholstered seat over a thin apron with a shell motif rising on cabriole legs terminating on scroll feet. The legs feature carved detail to the knees and are joined by a cross stretcher. There are no visible maker’s marks. For a matching piece, see item 17LOU124-048.
