A stunning oil on canvas painting by well- listed and renowned Cincinnati, Ohio artist Robert Fabe (1917-2004).The painting is typical of Fabe’s neutral-toned scarce landscapes. It depicts eight female figures lounging together on the beach, some seeking the shade of an umbrella. Nearby is a weathered lookout with distant homes. The painting is signed in black to the lower right. It is presented in a warm silver finished wood frame with beaded moulding and white linen inner trim. A hanging wire is attached to the verso, along with a gallery tag from Gallery 22 in Cincinnati and affixed artist information.
