The compete portfolio of olympic posters titled Games of the XXIII Olympiad Los Angeles 1984, produced by Knapp Communications Corporation. Featured are fifteen offset lithographs depicting various summer Olympic games including horse racing, swimming, track, and field. The prints were produced by various artists including Roy Lichtenstein (1923-1997), Robert Rauschenberg (1925 -2008), Jennifer Losch Bartlett (b. 1941), David Hockney (b. 1937), Carlos Almaráz (1941-1989), John Baldessari (b. 1931), Billy Bengston (b. 1934), Lynda Benglis (b. 1941), Jonathan Borofsky (B. 1942), Richard Clifford Diebenkorn (1922-1993), Sam Lewis Francis (1923-1994), April Greiman (b. 1948), Jayme Odgers (b. 1939), Martin Puryear (b. 1941), Raymond Saunders (b. 1934), and Garry Winogrand (1928-1984). The works are signed by hand in the lower right or left corner. A COA from the publisher is included in the portfolio. Works presented unframed within a fabric covered portfolio with silver toned embossed lettering.
Condition
- some discoloration is present to the fabric portfolio.
