A vintage Chippendale style highboy by Sumter Cabinet Company. This rectangular top piece with beveled edge features a top drawer with brass tone batwing plates and bail handles over two raised, arched panel cabinet doors opening to three stacked drawers flanked by fluted edges resting on a beveled base. The second unit features three stacked drawers with raised panels over a shaped apron and terminating on ogee bracket feet. This piece is marked ‘Sumter Cabinet Co’ to a drawer interior.
