Antique "Thornback Ray" Fish Print by E. Donovan

An antique print of a thornback ray by Edward Donovan (1768–1837). Donovan was an illustrator, writer and amateur zoologist. The plate marked border reads, ‘London pubd as the Act directs by E. Donovan and F. and C. Riving to March 1, 1803.’ It is mounted in a beveled mat and presented in a gold tone frame.
