A Queen Anne style cherry secretary desk by Jasper Cabinet. This item features a broken pediment crest with raised finial center over a pair of pane glass doors including metal pulls and panel sides, with glass interior shelving, atop a block front secretary desk. The desk includes a slant front panel top with escutcheon over stacked block front drawers including drop bail with willow backer pulls, dovetail joinery, escutcheons and carved shell designs. The desk rests atop cabriole legs. The piece is marked ‘Jasper Cabinet’ and ‘Colonial Cherry’.
