A gouache painting on hide titled Enlace de Toros Bravos (‘Bond of Brave Bulls’) by indigenous Ecuadorian artist Fausto Toaquiza (born 1970). This brightly colored and playful scene in the mountains depicts herds of sheep and bulls being guided back to town by men on horseback. A band plays on a hill in the center, vultures fly overhead, and an outcropping in the distance is personified with a stony expression. The piece is signed by the artist in the lower left corner and marked with the location and date of painting. To the verso the artist has listed the provenance, dimensions, title, and signed the piece. The hide is presented stretched around a wood frame with a painted pattern and is strung for hanging.

- wooden frame is chipped at bottom left; some toning on backing; minor scuffs to painted surface.
