Antique Yellowware Match Safe

Item Details

An antique yellowware terracotta match safe. This interesting match box has a lid with an image of a mythological creature’s face, resembling a troll. The face is surrounded by a Greek key design. The box and top have a serpentine shape and fit flush with each other. There are grooves on the inside of the lid for striking a match.

- sticker residue on bottom; tiny chips to finish on inside lid edge
