A vintage 20th century Ed Roos cedar chest with a painted light cream exterior and cedar interior. The chest has locking hinges to the lid with front lock (no key), side hand-holds and has casters on the base that permit easy movement. The chest is stamped E.R.Co. Forest Park and Forest Park, Illinois inside the top. The Chicago based chest maker was in business from 1916-1951.
