An oversized original David Lee (China, 1943 – ) mixed media painting on silk stretched over canvas. This 1970s era painting depicts oversized white iris blooms on a tranquil blue background. The painting includes the chop mark and signature to the right side. David Lee was born in Canton, China, with an insatiable desire to paint, won the Chinese National Painting Competition at age of 22, and is unquestionably the number one artist in China. Painting is framed in a period frame with a metallic finish and two cream tone woven fabric inner borders. Wired for hanging.
