Vintage Sterling Silver Tableware Including Barbour Silver Co.

An assortment of vintage sterling silver tableware including Barbour Silver Company. The assortment includes a Barbour Silver Company round salver with a beaded and geometric rim containing a laurel wreath. The verso stamped ‘B.S.C’ and ‘Sterling’ with a series of scratched numbers. The pierced and repousse scalloped bowl has a beaded edge containing sprays of roses surrounding a script ‘J’ monogram. It is marked for Mechanics Sterling Silver, a subsidiary of Watson & Newell Co. with a flag containing the letter ‘H’ and ‘Sterling’. The oval dish has a beaded edge over a pierced rim with a quatrefoil design with a similar script ‘J’ monogram. It rests on ball feet and is marked ‘Sterling 5938’ with a moose hallmark; possibly for Wallace. This assortment has a total approximate weight of 10.22 ozt.
