A Henri II style buffet a deux corps. This walnut piece features intricately carved details. It features a molded top with carved detail and raised panel accents above three carved doors set between four turned columns. The center door has a carved protruding lion head, and the outer two doors have carved sunflowers. Storage shelves are within. The upper unit stands on two turned posts to the front and an incised back panel, with a gallery shelf to the center with spindles and a top rail. The lower unit has two locking side-by-side dovetail jointed drawers with brass-toned lion head bail handles. Below are two raised panel doors with carved floral medallions. The doors open to reveal additional storage shelves. The doors are flanked by turned columns, fixed to a molded base. The piece stands on bun feet. The keys are included.
