A Rococo Revival mahogany sofa.The sofa features a three-part back and molded frame, center oval cushion with arched sections to either side, curved and angled high arms, straight skirt and modified cabriole type legs on casters in the front. The piece is embellished with a grape motif on the crest, incised carving on the back and legs, and horizontal fluting on the skirt. The front, back, and attached seat cushion are upholstered with moss green velvet fabric. The back rest and padded sides are tufted, and ribbon accents the edges where the fabric meets the wood frame.
