A woodcut on paper titled Humilation of Christ by James Colgan. This print depicts the face of Christ wearing his crown of thorns in the streaky style of a carved relief print. The artist has layered red, yellow, and black inks to create dimension. It is signed and titled in graphite to the lower margin, dated ‘12/7/76’, and marked ‘1/2/30’. The piece is presented behind a mat in a gold tone frame that is wired for hanging.

Condition

- interior glass has a cloudy residue; small scratch on right side of frame; other minor wear to frame.
