A group of sterling silver flatware in a wooden chest. This includes forty-eight items in total with eight Towle French Provincial dinner knives with stainless blades and hollow handles along with a butter knife with stainless blade, a soup spoon, two serving spoons, eight teaspoons, eight salad forks, eight dinner forks, and a cold meat fork in the same pattern. There are six Gorham Mothers style teaspoons engraved to the handles; they are marked ‘ST’ with Gorham maker’s marks and ‘Sterling’ to the backs along with dates. Additionally there are four assorted teaspoons from Gorham featuring the Lancaster pattern and R. Wallace & Sons Mfg. Co. and a Gorham serving fork. The total approximate weight is 47.285 ozt excluding knives with stainless blades.
