Reverse Painting on Convex Glass of the Statue of Liberty
Item Details
A vintage reverse painting on convex glass of the Statue of Liberty. This oval shaped painting depicts an image of the Statue of Liberty in the foreground with New York city in the background with a large American flag overhead. The painting is accented with silver tone foil glue onto the back of the glass. It is stamped ‘Statue of Liberty. N.Y.’ in black near the bottom of the glass. The painting is unsigned and is presented in a wooden frame.
Condition
-Glass is detached from frame.Screw holes and scratches on frame. Some losses to paint. May require cleaning. Some damage to back of glass.
