Pair of Framed Magazine Covers for "Vanity Fair" and "The New Yorker"
Item Details
A pair of framed Vanity Fair and The New Yorker magazines. Includes the January 1922 cover of Vanity Fair. This offset lithograph depicts a nighttime scene with a man seated on the ground in a frustrated pose while holding a flat tire in one hand. His female companion looks on from the car. ‘Vanity Fair’ is printed in bold across the top of the cover. It is labeled with date, publisher, and price at the bottom. Also includes the April 30, 1966 cover of The New Yorker. This cover presents depicts the image of a horse wearing racing goggles with the smaller image of an announcer near the bottom right. The head of the horse partially overlaps the magazine title printed across the top with the date and price of the magazine. The cover is signed in plate to the lower left corner. Both prints are presented framed and matted, under glass.
Condition
- Creasing, foxing, and other discoloration to magazine covers. Screw holes in sides of frames. Scratches and scuffs to frames.
