A pair of offset lithographs after magazine covers. Includes a print after the August 1932 edition of Pictorial Review depicting a young woman rowing a canoe down a river. It is signed in plate ‘McClelland Barclay’ to the lower left corner. This print is presented in a orange wooden frame with a grey mat, under plexiglass. Also includes a print after the May 4, 1940 edition of The Saturday Evening Post. This print a young black haired woman apprehensively performing a science experiment while holding a book that reads ‘Freshman Chemistry’ to the cover. It is signed in plate ‘John Hyde Phillips’ to the lower right corner. The print is presented in a red wooden frame with an off white mat, under plexiglass.
Condition
- Significant scratches to plexiglass. Screw holes and other damage to frames. May require cleaning.
