Vintage Chinoiserie Box

Item Details

A vintage Chinoiserie box. It features a rectangular wood construction with gilt painted foliate details against a black painted field. The piece has a hinged lid and a brass lock that is marked ‘Patent’ in between two engraved crown shapes. There is a brass bail pull to one side of the exterior.
