A collection of three framed color engravings depicting regattas. Includes a hand colored engraving titled The Saratoga Regatta — The Four-Oared Contest on the Third Day from an August 2, 1879 edition of Harper’s Weekly. A page from the September 28, 1867 printing of Frank Leslie’s Illustrated Newspaper featuring three hand colored engravings of regattas. And a page from the July 26, 1873 edition of Harper’s Weekly depicting a series of hand colored engravings of crew headquarters and boating scenes. These engravings are collectively titled The University Regatta for 1873. Each print is presented in a wooden frame, matted, under glass.
Condition
Yellowing and foxing to sheets with some creasing. Some water damage. Frames are chipped, scratched, and dented. One frame has screw holes on the edges.

- Largest frame measures 22.75″ × 29.75″ with a 14.5″ × 21″ image.
- Smallest measures 21.75″ × 18″ with a 14″ × 9.75″ image.
