A pairing of unique silver plate pieces. This includes a silver plate Ronson Mayfair table lighter, that was produced from 1936-1959. It features an urn shaped body with beadwork and bat’s-wing detailing. It is paired with an antique chamberstick by Birmingham silversmith John Sherwood and Sons that features a candle cup rising above a wave ornamented plate with a round finger holder and a lidded matchstick holder. It is marked with the makers mark of ‘J.S & S’, as well as the three pseudo hallmarks.
