Chinese Hand Carved Soapstone Sculpture of Guanyin
Item Details
A Chinese hand carved soapstone sculpture of a Guanyin (Avalokiteshvara), the bodhisattva of compassion. This sculpture depicts the bodhisattva in traditional dress clutching a jar in her hands. The sculpture is mounted to a brown soapstone base with illegibly markings to the underside.

- minor discolorations; wear consistent with age and gentle use (DCCPLS).
