The painting depicts several figures working on a docked sailboat that sits on wooden rollers with its sails rolled tightly. The painting is completed in loose, broad strokes in bright colors. A harbor lined with more boats and boathouses can be seen in the background. The painting is signed and dated in red to the lower right.
