Vintage Kleinwort & Peerless Silver Plate Inkstand With Cut Glass Ink Jars
Item Details
A vintage Kleinwort & Peerless silver plate inkstand with cut glass ink jars. The rectangular footed inkstand features a gadroon edge at the front and ornate scrollwork design at the other three sides. At the front there is also a narrow slot for a pen to rest. The two ink bottles feature square-shaped cuts to the sides and hinged metal lids. The piece is marked to the base ‘J. P. – K & P G – 727’.
Condition
- some scratches, tarnishing to stand and lids; one lid has become unattached.
