An original mid-20th century oil painting on canvas by an artist named C. Harlot. The painting depicts a tall three-masted schooner painted in loose strokes of paint, applied in flat, blended strokes to the upper half and in thick impasto across the water’s choppy surface. The painting is signed in red to the lower left. It is presented in a wooden frame with brass corner brackets, bronze tone inner finish, and a hanging wire.
